John Lutz, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. John Lutz was born in Lima, Ohio. He graduated with honors with a BA degree in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and went on to earn a DVM degree from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.
Between 1982 and 1986, Dr. Lutz practiced in Gownada, NY, Langdon's Town & Country Veterinary Clinic in Meadville, PA, and Western Reserve Animal Clinic in Pierpont, OH. In October 1986, he purchased Huber Animal Hospital from Dr. Frank Huber and renamed it Wintergreen Animal Hospital. In October 2004, he moved Wintergreen Animal Hospital to a newly built facility just one mile south of its old location where it remains today.
In his spare time, Dr. Lutz enjoys hiking, camping, and snow skiing. His family includes his wife, Dr. Debra Lutz, and their son Danny. He also shares his home with his two cats and two dogs.
